Founder, Jay Fox forms Sporting Event travel business

1997

Awarded provider and operator for several large incentive programs for Fortune 1000 companies

1999

Began to design, administer, and operate employee recognition domestic and international programs

2001

Sporting Event operation sole Founder, Jay Fox, and key client,

Tom Levenick (VP Sales of Fortune 500 company), create name and concept for PowerPlay Inc.

2002

Join forces with Wall  Street analysts to develop program ROI methodology & PowerPlay Approach
Company name changes to PowerPlay Strategies Corp to reflect shift in focus to key business drivers, performance behavior, client culture, and achieving proper ROI

2003

Development of non-travel award products
Becomes Authorized Dealer of American Express Incentive Services (AEIS)

2005

Expanded into diverse industries: Food & Beverage; Insurance; Energy; Telcom / IT; and other manufacturers.
Further developed models around: Loyalty Marketing, Employee & Customer Recognition, Pre- and Post-survey analysis, Highly creative communications, Safety Programs, Quantifying the value of rapport building/customer relations programs

2007

Orchestrated sports marketing promotions / partnership between Kentucky Derby winner Big Brown and UPS. Awarded Marketing Partnership Agreement to represent the Tiger Woods Foundation

2009

A systemic approach is developed to help clients change with the economy. Selected to be NFL OL Authorized Distributor of events.
PowerPlay Awards  A point-based platform is created to maximize award system resources. Features include: Manage and track multiple incentives & recognition programs; multi-level tailored award options, and most importantly, customized real time reporting. Upgraded to fully integrated Event Management System designed to enhance customer communications via creative communications, attendee registration & website integration, post-event surveys, and more.

2010

Special Event & Incentive Planning Team has received a perfect rating (5 of 5) by clients on post-program surveys (360 Feedback). Our systemic approach to designing and managing incentives, meetings, and events has saved our clients hundreds of thousands in unnecessary expenses.
