Jay Fox  CEO (Virginia Office)

CEO and Founder of PowerPlay Strategies Corp, a performance incentive company. Since June 2001, PowerPlay has helped corporations, large and small, to improve business via designing, implementing and administering: Product launches; employee recognition programs; internal and external sales channel incentives; and other such reward based programs. Jays primary responsibility is to oversee all aspects of the companys operations - employee management, client program design, administration, and fulfillment process, and financial. He has successfully designed and operated programs on five continents for clients such as: Kraft Foods/Post Brand; E&J Gallo Winery; MillerCoors LLC; Allstate Insurance Co. among others.

To further his knowledge in the art of motivating people, he achieved a Masters in Counseling and Human Development from George Mason University in May 2007. During his Masters work, Jay earned a lifetime membership in Chi Sigma Iota (CSI) honors society, and was selected to participate in the distinguished Oxford Honors Program at The University of Oxford, Oxford, England. As result of his continued education, PowerPlays approach to incentives is based on identifying specific human behaviors that uniquely or collectively drive each individual business.

Prior to founding PowerPlay, Jay co-founded, built, and sold Corporate Sport, Inc., an event planning firm specializing in National Sporting Events.

Additionally, Jay has 10 years experience in Mortgage Banking Industry.

Tom Levenick  President (Virginia Office)

President of PowerPlay Strategies since April 7, 2008, Tom has more than 20 years of general management, sales and marketing experience in the Consumer Products Industry.  Prior to working with PowerPlay, Levenick was Vice President of Marketing with Youbet.com, the largest ADW (Advanced Deposit Wagering) online horseracing site in the United States.   He spent a decade (1995-2005) in executive capacities with major brewers such as Miller, Coors and Labatt USA., most notably as Vice President of National Accounts for the Coors Brewing Company.

Levenick is a 1984 graduate of the Ohio State University where he lettered in football and played in the 1979 Gator Bowl and 1980 Rose Bowl.  He completed the Ironman Triathlon in Kailua Kona, Hawaii in 1989.  Levenick also graduated from the Executive Development Program at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton Business School in 1996. In 1997 and 1998 he earned the Coors Key Contributor Award for Sales and graduated from the Center for Creative Leadership in 2000.

Jeff Means  Vice President, Business Development (Texas Office)

Jeff began his career as a professional meeting planner in 1984 with the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce. In his role as Director of National Meeting and Events, he produced the annual city wide convention for over 10,000 attendees, as well as numerous award ceremonies, some produced for television broadcast.

In 1987, he joined the planning staff of the Republican Committee on Arrangements as Director of Transportation for the 1988 Republican National Convention. On-site in New Orleans for ten months, he was responsible for the 40,000 delegates, alternates and medias ground transportation, hotel, and air arrangements.

Since 1989, Jeff has been responsible for selling and developing complex business solutions to a wide range of clients to motivate sales efforts. His travels have taken him to more than fifty countries.

Jeff earned his Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in 1991 from Meeting Planners International.

Jamie King  Senior Manager, Special Events & Incentives (Delaware Office)

Jamie King is the Manager of Special Events and Incentives for PowerPlay Strategies and brings to the organization more than ten years of hospitality industry experience.  Jamie is a skilled and detail-oriented event and meeting planner whose clients benefit from her well-rounded background which include both client and hotel industry experience.  This combination gives Jamie invaluable insight into the delicate inter-workings of the meeting planner/hotel executive relationship.

In her current position, Jamie is charged with overseeing all aspects of event planning from start to finish, including: Arranging air and ground transportation, hotel accommodations, inspecting event sites, scheduling off site venues, coordination of all food and beverage need, and other travel award fulfillment needs.  For the past 10 years Jamie has worked on a wide variety of Incentive Travel Programs that include: U.S. Open Golf Tournament, Senior U.S. Open Tournament; Summer and Winter Olympics; high end destinations in Canada, Mexico, Caribbean, and Mainland Europe.

Prior to joining PowerPlay Strategies in 2008, Jamie served as a Senior Meeting Planner with Travel Destinations Management Group for ten years.  Jamie planned and executed corporate meetings and events in both domestic and international destinations. Prior to Travel Destinations, she was Sales Manager at the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore.  Jamie spent more than five years at Hyatt where she held positions in the sales, meeting services and catering departments.  By seeking out opportunities to experience the different facets of the hotel industry, Jamie has learned to excel at juggling the demands of the clients and the limitations of the hotel by creating innovative, problem solving solutions.

Becky Mikula  Senior Project Manager (Missouri Office)

Becky has been employed with PowerPlay since April of 2009. Though relatively new to our company, she brings nearly a decade of experience both in event management and financial analysis to the table. Becky earned both her MBA and Bachelors Degrees (with an emphasis in Marketing and Finance, respectively) from University of Missouri  St. Louis. She worked in Project Management with MasterCard International before accepting a position as a Travel Director with Maritz Travel. At Maritz, Becky worked with companies such as Edward Jones, Honda, Ford, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Google, and General Motors implementing incentive programs for groups of all sizes. She successfully executed program operations in international venues such as Cambodia, Costa Rica, Prague, Brazil, and Vietnam. Prior to joining our team, Becky was also employed as a Project Administrator with MillerCoors where she performed Sales and Distribution reporting analysis. Becky specializes in website development, event data analysis, participant communications, and budget management.

Jim Junkala  Creative Director (Virginia Office)

Jim has over 30 years experience in the licesened and branded side of the advertising industry, He has developed multi-tiered product and marketing campaigns for high profile branded companies. Jim has had his own start up business both owning and co-founding an Internet Technology company along with a mid-size advertising agency.  Jim has worked with highly visible firms like : Disney, Universal Studios, Fox, Warner Bros., Heineken, NASCAR, Cheverolet, Ford, Harley Davidson, ESPN2, Bacardi, and many more to help build and maintain their brands in the international marketplace.
